Meringue Powder Bulk - Shasta Whip ( 100 g )
Meringue Powder is a primary ingredient for making royal icing. It is used to make many decorations such as, cookie decorating, icing flowers, gingerbread houses and more . This icing dries hard and can be also used as a "glue" for fondant or gumpaste decorations. It can help stabilize buttercream or add body to boiled icing and meringues. Ingredients: Sugar, Dried Egg Albumen, Corn Starch, Gum Arabic, Cream of Tartar ( acidity regulator ) , Salt, Ammonium Aluminum Sulphate ( stabilizer ) , zanthan gum, citric acid, artificial flavor.

Good but takes a while to dissolve
I whisk my meringue powder with warm water to dissolve it first when making royal icing. This brand takes a while to dissolve, more so than the old brand I used, so the first time I made it, there were small lumps throughout the whole batch of icing. However, now that I know that, I just whisk it a bit longer, and overall the icing tastes great with or without vanilla added.

I have tried a few different powders and have always come back to this one. No pitting, nice and fluffy royal icing! I will always use this product.

Ordered this for the first time, had been using powdered egg whites. This blends so much easier and gave me a lovely batch of royal icing!
