CHEF: Amanda St. Pierre
Born and raised in beautiful Victoria British Columbia, she had a passion for culinary arts from a very young age. This led her to attend Spectrum High School's Culinary Arts Trade Program where she was able to achieve her Professional Cooks Level One through a dual credit program with Camosun College, as well as win the second place medal in BC Hot Comp Live Cooking Competition 2011.
After graduation she was hired by the school district to aid the Instructor of the Culinary Arts Trade Program as the Kitchen Manager, where she worked for the next decade. During this time she obtained her Red Seal in culinary arts and also worked at a handful of notable Victoria establishments, including Il Terrazzo, and The Westin Resort Bear Mountain.
Her family recently relocated to Kamloops and she was in search of an outlet for her teaching & culinary skills, which is what brought her to Scoop-N-Save.
