GRRRRR - what fun to celebrate a birthday with your own friendly monster cake. This cake is really easy to decorate and makes a big impact.
Cake Pop Eyes
- Coat each cake pop with white chocolate and let harden.
- Once hardened, add a partial layer of blue fondant over each eyeball (or what ever color you are making your monster).
- Cut out a circle of black fondant for the eyeball and place on the front of the cake pop.
Top Tier
- The buttercream icing was piped using Tip # 234 Grass
- Using fondant cut out the mouth and teeth and apply gently to the buttercream. The fondant will stick to the buttercream.
Bottom Tier
- Pipe this tier using an Open Commercial Star Tip # 824
- Using fondant cut out the mouth and apply gently to the buttercream. Again using circle cutters and fondant cut the various sizes of rounds for the eye and with a small dab of water stick the black circle to the green circle and that to the white circle ( or whatever colors you chose ). Then gently stick to the fondant.
